"China textile and apparel industry life cycle evaluation working group" was formally established
As one of the five parts of the China Textile And Apparel Industry in 2020, the annual Meeting of Social Responsibility of China textile and Apparel Industry was successfully held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China on December 22, at which the "China Textile and Apparel Industry full life Cycle Evaluation Working Group" was officially announced to be established.After nearly seven months of preparation, the working group now has 40 members, including 31 enterprises and 9 academic and technical institutions. It basically covers the whole supply chain process of major fiber materials, textile chemicals, textile, printing and dyeing processing, sewing and non-manufacturing, as well as purchasing brands and consumer ends."China's textile and apparel industry whole life cycle assessment working group will jointly conduct LCA evaluation system for textile products and tool construction work, research and development of textile industry chain of the material in whole life cycle of environment database and application cases, carbon footprint and water footprint textile and related products, chemical footprint, the standardization of a number of environmental indicators measuring and ecological analysis, through the analysis of the scientific method product vision enterprise and product carbon reduction and energy saving and emission reduction optimization path of the environment of supply chain management, strengthen the two-way synergy green industry chain and value chain management.Related News
